Sellick Partnership is recruiting for an exciting opportunity within a London Borough Council for a Locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer. This is a hybrid working arrangement with competitive rates. The assignment will begin on a 3‑month contract and is likely to be extended on a rolling basis. The successful Contracts Lawyer is expected to attend the office twice per week.
Our client is looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX or equivalent. Ideally, the candidate has local government experience, but we also consider other sectors with transferable skills. The successful Contracts and Procurement Lawyer must have experience providing professional legal advice on all aspects of commercial contracts and procurement related work.
On offer is a flexible working arrangement, a great work/life balance, competitive pay between £55 and £65 per hour based on experience, and an interesting workload.
