Account Director

An innovative print and communications company is looking for an Account Director to lead the strategy, delivery and growth of one of its biggest accounts. The role requires building strong client relationships with key marketing stakeholders, introducing and delivering new requirements, leading client projects, managing associated commercials and maximizing contribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • A trusted partner to the client in delivering all creative services requirements across the full marketing channel spectrum.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact on a day‑to‑day basis for the onsite marketing team, for both ASI and all SLA individual brands, building strong strategic client relationships at the highest level.
  • Understand and keep abreast of the client’s business, brand and industry, contributing to their success and growth by creating innovative value‑adding propositions and showcasing full‑service capabilities.
  • Confident in client presentations.
  • Fully understand the client’s structure and service requirements, ensuring the team delivers on all contractual SLAs, brand guidelines and quality standards at all times while identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies.
  • Ensure client expectations are met.
  • Advise on the most efficient and cost‑effective ways to execute campaigns, challenging a client where necessary while providing solutions and alternative options for consideration.
  • Proactively manage all risks and escalations to the Client Services Director.
  • Provide contractual MI, reports and ad‑hoc information upon request.
  • With the support of the Account Management team, lead the end‑to‑end workflow to ensure all client requirements are met.
  • Own the processes and continue to develop best practice.
  • Articulate and deliver training to teams on any business process, using wider business support as necessary.

Qualifications

Applicants must be residents of the United Kingdom and have current or recent experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
