Job Title: Global Major Account Director

Salary: £95k basic plus attractive bonus scheme, Exec Car

Our client is an industry leader in branding with global corporations to produce print & packaging with noteworthy brand recognition. The company’s operations are located across North America, Canada, Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen client relationships through proactive account directorship
• Maintain client satisfaction and retention to agreed targets
• Actively seek to increase services offered and income generated to agreed individual and team targets
• Have an in-depth understanding of the financial status of the full client portfolio
• Develop processes to forecast upcoming workloads and deliver accurate projections
• Communicate with clients through face‑to‑face meetings, telephone, conference calls, and email
• Use excellent listening and probing questioning skills to fully understand client objectives and industry sector
• Ensure timely, high‑quality reporting from the quality team on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Promote professionalism through manner, appearance and delivery, keeping promises

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a Key Account Manager / Account Director role within a fast‑paced, high‑volume turnover sector
• Strong communicator with ability to interpret client briefs and expedite to necessary areas of the business to achieve timelines
• Excellent analytical mind with foresight to identify problems early and implement counter‑measures
• Experience in FMCG, printing or packaging background; managing accounts with a minimum turnover of £20m per annum
• Pharmaceutical experience is a bonus
