Are you experienced in bridging design and manufacturing? Are you able to define processes and create complex 5‑axis machining programs? This role will allow you to take control and make a difference in a booming industry.
You will be working for a well-known name in the aerospace industry, defining processes and creating programs for critical part manufacturing. A lot of what the business do is R&D lead, high value parts, so no two programs will be the same! The business also offer a 4-day working week, meaning every week you get a 3-day weekend!
You will be the main point of contact to offer your expertise, define processes, problem solve and truly be the link between design offices and manufacturing on the shopfloor. Setting out the procedures so all departments are on the same page is key. Creating complex 5-axis programs is part of this, to ensure toolpaths are correct and parts are made to the tightest of tolerances.
