We have an outstanding vacancy with one of our key clients for a professional to manage an Estimating team within an organisation which provides bespoke services to a large and diverse range of customers.
Responsibilities
- Managing a team: delegating to subordinates and communicating with superiors from other divisions of the organisation
- Preparing cost estimates from the job briefs contained in the initial and subsequent enquiry events
- Prioritising workload in accordance with estimate deadlines; exhibiting flexibility and coping under pressure
- Liaising with outwork suppliers to negotiate and obtain correct prices
Qualifications
- Previously managing a team of estimators
- Estimating within a busy print/digital/mailing environment
- Great attention to detail
