Are you experienced in managing building safety operationally within complex property environments?

We are supporting a dynamic property‑management organisation in appointing an Interim Building Safety Consultant to support a period of change and increased operational demand across its property portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director of Health & Safety, this hands‑on role focuses on the delivery of building safety activities. The successful candidate will bring structure, strengthen systems, and help drive compliance and safety management across a variety of high‑risk buildings in London and the Southeast.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and refinement of building safety management systems across multiple sites.
  • Ensure consistent application of safety procedures, documentation, and controls.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and operational delivery.
  • Identify gaps or risks in safety processes and help implement practical solutions.
  • Support a period of transformation to embed a more robust building safety approach.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience in building safety, property safety, or a closely related discipline.
  • A strong understanding of safety requirements within residential or complex property environments.
  • Proven ability to improve systems, processes, and governance within dispersed portfolios.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a delivery‑focused approach.
