Programme Lead – MBA Global (Greenwich Online)

Location: Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway Campuses

Salary: £46,049 to £56,535 per annum

Part Time Hours: 0.5 FTE

Contract Type: Permanent

Overview

The University of Greenwich is expanding its online learning provision under the “This is Our Time” strategy. Programme Leads are essential to the success of our online ambitions. The role will start as 0.5 FTE from 1 September 2025 and increase to a full‑time position in September 2028. Substantive position is Senior Lecturer in the advertised field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a programme within the online portfolio.
  • Lead duties on the first module and line‑manage module leads and module tutors.
  • Motivate module teams, collaborate effectively with university stakeholders and lead programme direction.

Qualifications

  • Programme/ module design experience.
  • Experience teaching as part of a fully online programme.
  • Knowledge of quality, regulatory and policy requirements for delivering HE education.
  • Excellent communicator and leadership skills.

Remote Work and Campus Attendance

The role is advertised as a remote position but attendance on campus is required four times a year. Candidates should be willing to cover travel costs.
