Role Summary

The Global Cyber Solution Architect is responsible for designing, shaping, and developing cyber solutions that support KPMG’s global clients across multiple industries and levels of complexity. The role serves as the primary architect for global cyber solution design across managed services, advisory offerings, and large‑scale transformation deals, including solutioning for MDR, penetration testing, vulnerability management, attack surface management, and cyber risk management.

How Will You Make Your Mark?

The architect will translate client requirements into scalable and repeatable solution designs that can be delivered through KDN’s global delivery network. The role requires extensive understanding of how enterprise cyber organisations operate, including information security, cyber risk, compliance, security engineering, threat detection, vulnerability management, and operational resilience.

This individual will work across member firm teams, deal teams, technical leads, and delivery centres to ensure solution designs are commercially viable, aligned to market expectations, and deliver value to clients. The role also includes coordinating with member firm cyber leads on structuring offerings for their client needs. As KDN scales, this role is expected to guide and mentor regional solution architects.

This Is the Job For You If You Have

• Extensive experience designing cyber managed services including MDR, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, attack surface management, and threat exposure management.
• Experience leading or architecting large‑scale, multi‑region cyber programmes across enterprises of varying sizes and maturity.
• Knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, ASM, VM, and cloud native security stacks across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Advanced capability in solution cost modelling, rate card development, effort modelling, and cross‑region delivery planning.
• Experience establishing architectural standards, design patterns, solution templates, and global consistency frameworks.
• Experience integrating threat intelligence, detection engineering, secure operations, automation, and analytics into scalable service models.
• Experience evaluating and selecting cyber platforms and technologies with consideration for scale, cost, durability, and operational alignment.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to design automated workflows, orchestration logic, and scalable supporting infrastructure.
• Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices and how these can be integrated into managed cyber offerings.
• Knowledge of global cyber frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to CISO, CIO, CTO, and executive‑level stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, OSCP, GIAC
