Responsibilities

The postholder will be responsible for undertaking duties associated with the care of children and young adults of reproductive age. The postholder will assess patient referrals, participate in decision‑making, discuss complex cases with senior clinical staff and prepare summaries of patients for presentation at the local or national MDT. The role includes support for patients at remote ‘Spoke’ sites, including providing clinical advice and facilitating patient consent, and will also provide clinical care to patients at RHCYP. The successful applicant will undertake a clinical research project aimed at obtaining an MD/PhD qualification.

Working Conditions

Full time (40 hours per week) post based in RHCYP / RIE / SJH Hospital. The post will be available from 1st July 2026 and is a fixed‑term contract with possible extension by a further year.
