Asset Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Location: Corsham Estate

We’re looking for an Asset Manager who will be responsible for the strategic management, optimisation, and lifecycle performance of all built assets across the MoD Corsham estate. This role ensures statutory compliance, Defence readiness, value‑for‑money, and long‑term asset resilience through structured planning, data‑driven asset decisions, and effective stakeholder engagement.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Asset Management Strategy aligned with Defence standards and Mitie policies.
- Maintain an accurate, auditable asset register covering condition, risk, lifecycle status, and maintenance history.
- Lead asset surveys, condition assessments, and asset lifecycle forecasting across the estate.
- Support the development and delivery of annual and long‑term lifecycle and capital investment plans.
- Ensure compliance with MoD Regulations, JSPs, SFG20, statutory legislation, and security protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in lifecycle planning, asset management, or project management within PFI/PPP or Defence environments.
- Sound understanding of HSE regulations, Defence technical standards, and FM best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems (e.g., Archibus, Maximo).
