Job Purpose
The GRC Platform Integration & Support Team sits within the M&G plc Non-Financial Risk team in the Risk and Compliance function and is responsible for the Group's primary Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) application, Metricstream. The team leads the development, optimisation and governance of the Metricstream system, ensuring it supports high-quality, consistent and efficient risk management across the organisation.
Work Level Accountabilities
- Accountable for providing a quality service to customers and stakeholders

- Use business understanding and expert judgement to quickly identify underlying issues and, where appropriate, escalations

Be personally accountable for identifying, assessing, managing and reporting risks within your area of responsibility, including supporting formal risk management activities such as Risk & Control Self Assessments and timely closure of Assurance action.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with key parties to support the development and ongoing improvements of the firm-wide Risk Framework, Policies and Standards
- Proactively seek out enhancements and improvements through user engagement and collaboration
- Lead discrete change initiatives that contribute to the wider change programme
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for issue resolution and change management
- Design and produce user-focused supporting resources such as training material and in‑system information through the Think Next Adopt platform
- Support the team in its delivery of critical and key objectives as well as BAU activity
- Support the change management and maintenance of the GRC system, including system updates, upgrades and changes
- Support the team lead in executing and delivering the strategic objectives for the Risk & Compliance function and the GRC platform strategy
Experience Required
Essential
- Previous experience in a risk/audit function or Big4 within a financial institution, focusing on operational and non‑financial risk and compliance
- Recent experience and knowledge of Metricstream in a financial services organisation in a Superuser/SME capacity
Desirable
- Leading end‑to‑end delivery of projects and objectives
- Strong experience with the implementation and ongoing support of a GRC system – Metricstream preferred
- Experience working across multiple functions such as IT, vendors, and risk & compliance
- Experience working as part of a multi‑location team
Knowledge Required
Essential
- Knowledge of enterprise GRC systems and their application in financial services
- Knowledge of risk frameworks in a financial services organisation
- Understanding of components of a risk framework
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
Desirable
- Understanding of M&G plc products, systems and distribution methods
- Knowledge of the insurance and asset management sectors
