Our highly respected client is looking for a Senior Manager – FP&A to play a critical role in how they plan, forecast and assess financial performance across the Group. This is a high‑impact, senior finance leadership role, working closely with Executive leadership and the Board.
You’ll lead group budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning, own the operational and project cost base, and head up the FP&A Centre of Excellence. If you enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands‑on analysis and people leadership, this role offers real scope and visibility.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Leading the Group annual budget and re‑forecasting cycles, aligned to strategic objectives
- Delivering financial modelling, scenario analysis and long‑range forecasting
- Owning operational and project cost planning, including business cases and investment evaluation
- Providing commercial challenge and insight to senior stakeholders
- Producing monthly performance reporting (KPIs, cost drivers, profitability and trends)
- Presenting financial insights to Executive Committees and the Board
- Leading, coaching and developing the FP&A team
- Improving FP&A processes, tools and systems to strengthen controls and insight
What we’re looking for
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) with 5+ years’ PQE
- Proven experience in FP&A / commercial finance, ideally within Financial Services
- Strong understanding of financial services performance drivers and regulation
- Hands‑on experience with budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles
- Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills
- Experience influencing at senior leadership, Executive and Board level
- Clear, confident communication style with strong attention to detail
- A collaborative, inclusive leadership approach that builds high‑performing teams
