Registered Homes Manager – Monument View

Salary – Grade 10 (SCP 42-46): £53,460 – £57,927 per annum. Working pattern: 37 hours per week (Permanent).

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead our well‑established 6‑bedded children’s residential home, proudly graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing inspirational leadership and ensuring a culture of compassion, stability and trauma‑informed care.
  • Maintaining full compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivering continuous quality improvements.
  • Ensuring high standards of safeguarding, care planning and behaviour support.
  • Managing, developing and motivating a skilled staff team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Overseeing budgets, resources and the operational management of the home.
  • Building strong relationships with external partners, families and professionals.

Exemptions & Checks

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. We will also carry out an online internet search for publicly available information that might suggest you are not fit to work with children or young people.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a leadership or deputy management role within children’s residential care.
  • Holding (or working toward) the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • Proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for young people.
  • Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and children’s homes legislation.
  • Resilience, child‑centred and committed to creating a nurturing, empowering environment.
