Registered Children’s Home Manager
Are you a passionate leader with a heart for children’s care? We’re looking for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to join our dedicated team and lead one of our nurturing, high‑quality EBD homes.
The Nelson home is a solo service, offering a smaller, safe and nurturing place for 6 to 18‑year‑olds with complex behavioural, emotional and social needs.
Who we’re looking for
We seek dedicated passionate individuals who take pride and responsibility in their work. In this role you will manage the home, oversee care plans, ensure compliance with regulations and support staff and children.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (essential)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (highly desirable)
- A minimum of 2 years in a position relevant to residential care of children (essential)
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a managerial/senior/team‑leader/supervisory role within care
- In‑depth knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice and regulatory expectations such as Ofsted regulations (essential)
