Successful Candidate
- Level 5 NVQ in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or working toward this qualification.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential home setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth understanding of EBD and therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the residential care team, promoting a positive and nurturing environment for children.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, focusing on emotional and behavioral development.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and organizational policies.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability.
- Lead and support staff development, including training and performance management.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on children's progress and home operations.
