About the Role
As a Hearing Aid Audiologist at Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, you will provide expert hearing assessments, fit and program hearing aids, and deliver tailored hearing solutions to enhance patients’ quality of life. You will maintain hearing aids, perform diagnostics, and offer patient education and support for optimal device use in a professional and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests
- Fit and program hearing aids to meet individual patient needs
- Provide patient education, advice and ongoing support to ensure optimal use of hearing devices
- Perform hearing aid maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with professional and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advances in audiology and hearing aid technology through continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids
- Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centered approach
- Commitment to ongoing learning and teamwork
