At Currys we’re united by one passion: to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As the UK’s best-known retailer of tech, we’re proud of the service our customers receive – and it’s all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.

The Senior UX Architect plays a central role in shaping and delivering user experiences that are intuitive, inclusive, and aligned with both customer needs and business goals. Reporting to the Senior UX Manager, this role is responsible for managing the end-to-end UX design process across key digital journeys, translating insight and requirements into user centred design solutions that improve the customer experience and deliver value to the business.

As a champion of best practice design and customer led thinking, the Senior UX Architect works closely with cross functional teams across digital, product, content, and development to ensure experiences are consistent, effective, and continually optimised. The role combines hands on UX delivery with design oversight and mentoring, helping to drive quality, consistency, and innovation across everything we create. A key part of the role is the ability to confidently choose the correct approach, effectively communicate rationale, and defend methodology and design decisions with business stakeholders.

The Senior UX Architect is expected to be proactive in driving improvement, managing expectations, and ensuring holistic thinking is applied across all work, constantly considering the end to end customer journey. The role also supports the Senior UX Manager through contributing to team planning, design standards, and the ongoing development of our UX maturity. This includes running meetings, leading discussions, driving actions forward, and taking ownership where needed to ensure momentum and clarity.
