Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of an existing distributor network across Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with internal Business Unit metrics.
- Identify, appoint, and develop new distributors in emerging territories.
- Support distributors in achieving individual sales targets to meet overall regional sales objectives.
- Collaborate with distributors to develop appropriate market and segment‑specific strategies.
- Monitor distributor sales performance on a quarterly basis and provide feedback to distributors.
- Assist channels in positioning instruments effectively against competitors in the market.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide relevant market feedback.
- Support the distribution network through seminars, trainings, customer visits, exhibitions, and related activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or Science, with basic knowledge of Chemistry.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in distributor management.
- Technical competence in scientific or analytical instruments; exposure to scientific equipment or electrical background with practical experience in protocol implementation involving external devices. Relevant protocols include Serial (RS232/RS485), RJ45 (Ethernet), Profibus, and HART.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% annually, including within Singapore.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
