HVAC Engineer

We are looking to bring on a new dedicated, qualified HVAC service engineer to join our rapidly growing team on a permanent basis. This role will work with the wider engineering team within 90 minutes of Central London on a variety of HVAC projects, as well as actively contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently across split/multi split systems, DX and CW FCUs.
  • Compile dilapidation reports.
  • Complete works on VRV and VRF condensers and CRAC units independently.
  • Carry out PPM visits and repair works.
  • Complete advanced fault finding.
  • Ensure accurate reports of work are on time and to a high standard.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and company policies.
  • Understand Health and Safety regulations.
  • To work in accordance with all policies and procedures of Accent Services.
  • To commit to own personal development and attend training and/or development activities as required.
  • To work in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • To undertake any other duties and required, and as appropriate to the post.

Essential Criteria

  • Diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration or equivalent (NVQ)
  • Category 1 F Gas qualification or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Must have 2–3 years relevant experience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both the engineering team and office team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • High level of self–motivation.
  • Ability to utilise manufacturers service software.
  • A sound understanding of data and how it is used.
  • Ability to work on other types of equipment such as chillers, AHUs and refrigeration is desirable.
