Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and packaging assets
- Respond effectively to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
- Work across pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new and existing equipment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, uptime, and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and engineering safety standards (GMP / HACCP)
- Accurately record maintenance activity using CMMS systems
About You
- Recognised engineering qualification (Level 3 NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
- Strong multi-skilled capability (electrical and mechanical fault-finding)
- Experience within FMCG, food, packaging, or similar regulated manufacturing
- Confident fault diagnosis on automated production equipment
- A proactive mindset with a focus on prevention and continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
