Senior Service Engineer (Commercial Coffee Machines)
Location: London (within M25) and South East (Watford, Chelmsford, Luton, Croydon).
Salary: £44,000 – £48,000 basic + £2,000 London weighting (within M25) + company van / Oyster card, overtime, bonus.
Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for a small team of service engineers, providing technical guidance.
- Drive best practices to achieve strong first‑fix rates and conduct joint site visits with the team.
- Provide first‑line support to customers when required.
- Carry out planned service and reactive maintenance on coffee and drinks machines.
- Escalate issues, concerns and training opportunities to the Regional Service Manager.
- Report to the Regional Service Manager and Service Operations Manager.
- Work Monday‑Friday daytime hours with one weekend out of every four.
Qualifications
- Previous team‑leadership experience working with electromechanical systems.
- Experience with coffee and drinks machines (training available).
- Worked in fast‑paced, SLA/KPI‑focused environments.
- Empathetic, customer‑focused and excellent communication skills.
- Good sense of humour (optional).
- Full UK driver’s licence and right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
- Willing to travel to customer sites across the South East and Central London.
