We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Ballymena, who are seeking to add an experienced Maintenance Engineer to their established engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and well-invested site where continuous improvement and engineering excellence are key to operations.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will support the ongoing maintenance and reliability of automated production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimum performance across the plant.

Conduct both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of automated machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical faults quickly and effectively to minimise disruption
Support engineering improvements and participate in root cause analysis
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with H&S standards
Work collaboratively with production and other engineering team members
Third level qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical)
Proven maintenance experience in a factory or manufacturing setting
Strong fault-finding skills, ideally on automated systems
Ability to work rotating shifts and respond calmly under pressure
A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach
£46,000 base salary
