Overview
Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: 38,000 – 45,000 – Depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Producing production and assembly drawings with the use of Solidworks of jigs, frames and full bespoke machines.
- Collaborating with the design team on new projects and designs.
- Producing 2D technical drawings.
- Producing Bills of Materials.
- Updating and maintaining the product data management software.
Position Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within a Design Engineering role.
- HNC or above in a Mechanical / Design related field.
- Experience within a special purpose machinery or automation related field.
- Strong communications skills.
- Proficient in the use of Solidworks or similar.
- Full UK Driving License.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Salary 38,000 – 45,000 – depending on experience.
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:15, Friday 08:30 – 13:00.
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
