Overview

The company, established for over 50 years, specialises in the design, manufacture and build of a range of special purpose machinery. Due to increased demand for their services, they are looking to add to their specialist team of Design Engineers. This role offers a 6‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility to extend.

Key Responsibilities

• Use SolidWorks to design a range of parts and components for new machinery and the development of existing parts and products.
• Collaborate with various teams within the business to lead a new project the company has successfully tendered for.
• Work on a variety of bespoke design projects.
• Work Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Design Engineer proficient with SolidWorks.
• Experience in manufacturing or special purpose machinery.
• Looking for an immediate start.
• Commutable to Colchester.

Salary & Benefits

£45,000 – 50,000 plus progression potential, life insurance and excellent company benefits.
