Role: Electrical Installation Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Installation Engineer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be capable of working with minimal supervision while contributing positively to a dynamic, busy team. This role involves both on-site installation work at customer premises and control panel wiring in our workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical control panels to CAD drawings provided by in-house electrical designers.
- Install mains, 24V DC and communication cables.
- Install cable containment systems to support wiring.
- Wire motors, sensors, and remote Input/Output (I/O) nodes.
- Terminate field cables in control panels.
- Install and configure AC servo drives and inverter motor controllers.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical safety regulations and best practices.
- Work on-site at customer premises in the automotive, aerospace, and logistics industries.
- Undertake weekend work and overnight stays as required.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture within all work environments.
Requirements for the Electrical Installation Engineer
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and components.
- Proven experience in wiring motors, sensors, I/O nodes, and control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical CAD drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and stay overnight when required.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
