Football Development Officer (Male & Competitions)

Leicestershire & Rutland County FA (LRCFA) is inviting applications for the position of Football Development Officer (Male & Competitions).

Salary: Starting from £26,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week (regular evening and weekend work required)
Location: Holmes Park, Dog and Gun Lane, Whetstone, LE8 6FA (with travel around the county and some home working)

This full‑time role will focus on the strategic development of the male football pathway and County FA competitions across Leicestershire and Rutland. The successful candidate will work closely with leagues, clubs, and key partners to grow participation, enhance playing opportunities, and support the delivery of high‑quality competitions.

The role will also lead on the implementation of new formats such as 3v3 football, while supporting the delivery and growth of County Cup competitions and wider grassroots initiatives. Reporting to the Football Pathways Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the local game.
