Overview
We are seeking a Packaging Sales Executive to nurture hot leads and drive new business for a Scottish‑based environmentally‑friendly packaging solutions provider. The role focuses on follow‑up of exhibition leads, negotiation, closing deals, and understanding customer needs across beverage, electronics, medical, produce, industrial and horticultural sectors.
Responsibilities
- Follow up and convert exhibition leads into sales opportunities.
- Generate new business by leveraging hot leads and networking with prospects.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favourable outcomes for both the client and the customer.
- Build empathy and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the trends of the Scottish marketplace and industry developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative packaging solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the packaging industry, with a strong track record in sales.
- Detailed knowledge of the Scottish market and its customer base.
- Excellent negotiation, closing and communication skills.
- Strong ability to understand and address customers’ needs and wants.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
- Passion for innovation and collaboration in the packaging sector.
Only UK residents who have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors are considered for this role.
