Head of Residential

Location: Godalming - The Mill. Salary: £64,619.00 - £68,000.00 plus £5,000.00 car allowance per annum. Hours: 37.5 hours per week – flexible options considered. Contract Type: Fixed‑term contract / secondment until March 2027.

We’re looking for a Head of Residential to lead a team of Property Managers and Coordinators. This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality services across our residential portfolio while driving performance, compliance, and value for money.

Key responsibilities include overseeing financial performance, ensuring excellent customer service, managing repairs, insurance claims, and statutory obligations; supporting and developing the team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus; contributing to business growth through tenders, budget setting and mobilisation of new developments; providing clear reporting, managing complex issues and supporting business planning.

Qualifications: hold a relevant professional qualification (IRPM, RICS) and have strong leadership experience. Should have experience in private residential property management, a strategic approach to leadership, good systems knowledge and ability to manage property mobilisation.

Working conditions: hybrid working with flexible arrangements. Primarily based at our Eishing office with attendance expected three to four times per month; travel is essential. Applicants must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and must reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.
