At Places for People, we hire People, not numbers! So, if you like the sound of one of our jobs, you could be just who we’re looking for. Experience and track record are important, but we’re more interested in hiring someone who embodies our People Promises – who does the right thing, is enthusiastic, motivated to grow, believes in community spirit, is respectful, and enjoys their work.
As the UK’s leading social enterprise, we’re dedicated to creating inclusive and thriving communities for both our customers and employees.
We are looking to recruit a Customer Advisor on a Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a great opportunity to join a growing area of the business.
This role is based at Touchstone Bath. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 9 am–5:30 pm and Friday 9 am–5 pm. After an initial training period (2–4 weeks), the role offers hybrid working (3 days at home).
On a daily basis you will help to ensure that the customer experience is of the highest standard and provide administrative support in relation to all leasing activity and day‑to‑day operations.
In addition to liaising with customers about their tenancies, negotiating rents and ending tenancies, you will conduct regular market research and provide admin support to ensure applications are completed correctly.
A basic DBS check is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar role. Experience conducting administrative tasks and familiarity with MS packages such as MS Word and Excel are required.
We can discuss flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours, flexible start and finish times, or compressed hours, where appropriate.
We are proud to support the Armed Forces Covenant. Places for People will guarantee an interview for any candidate who is serving or has formerly served in the Armed Forces, including reservists, veterans, cadet instructors, or military spouses, if they meet the essential criteria for the role.
Places for People is a Level 2 Disability Confident Employer. Disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for the vacancy will be guaranteed an interview.
Neurodiverse individuals have highly valuable skills, and we recognise that a traditional interview process sometimes works against them. Neurodiverse applicants who meet the criteria for the vacancy will be guaranteed an interview.
