Job Overview
The client is seeking a reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic professional to work closely with the existing Estimating Team and other individuals within the company to prepare accurate and timely cost estimates across the full range of services offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cost estimates from the job briefs contained in the initial and subsequent enquiry events
- Prioritising workload in accordance with estimate deadlines; exhibiting flexibility and coping under pressure
- Liaising with outwork suppliers to negotiate and obtain correct prices
- Using Master Estimate Templates to produce the more simple litho printing estimates
Requirements
- Evidence of a recent history of estimating within a busy print/digital/mailing environment
- Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills
- Experience of an MIS system
- Great attention to detail, ability to work well in a team, and capability to make quality decisions from the analysis of relevant information
- Resident in the UK and have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors
