The Depot Operations Supervisor reports to the Retail Sales & Operations Manager (RSOM) and is responsible for overseeing the depot and service across Customer Services, Delivery fleet and Cold store Warehouse.
This is a full‑time role of 40 hours per week, working any 5 of 6 days (Sundays closed). The hourly pay is £14.94.
Responsibilities
- Model passion and commitment to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
- Drive the consistent delivery of established processes and operational standards.
- Track the team’s performance against daily, weekly and monthly targets.
- Develop the operational performance of the depot and the skills of your team.
- Manage health & safety, stock, local delivery fleet and facilities maintenance.
- Participate in day‑to‑day tasks, including deliveries (a full UK driving licence is essential).
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a supervisory role, leading and motivating a team to achieve shared objectives.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.

- Proficiency using IT systems.
- Ability to understand and influence KPIs.

- Full UK driving licence.
You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years. All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks and basic DBS checks.

- Previous experience leading a team within a retail, wholesale, customer service or operational/logistics environment.
- Some knowledge of commercial / P&L / budget management.
- Health & safety training.
- Food safety training.

- Experience of implementing operational policies and processes.
