Are you highly organised, detail‑focused, and passionate about quality within a manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy working closely with project, production, and quality teams to ensure documentation meets the highest standards?

We’re looking for a Quality Control Assistant to join our Quality team in Deeside, supporting the Quality Control Manager and playing a key role in the preparation, control, and delivery of project quality documentation.

The role

This is a varied and hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for managing and coordinating quality records throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project requirements, company procedures, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate, assemble, and complete QC packs and final turnover data books (hard copy and electronic)
  • Coordinate with project and manufacturing teams to compile quality documentation including QC packs, LTQRs, inspection reports, certificates, and as‑built records
  • Manage calibration of equipment and maintain accurate calibration trackers
  • Prepare, review, and monitor inspection and acceptance documentation
  • Ensure quality records are collated and filed in line with project and Quality Management System requirements
  • Support internal and external audits by demonstrating robust document control processes
  • Assist with setting up and monitoring manufacturing KPIs
  • Promote and comply with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, including nuclear safety principles
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and a positive HSEQ culture

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in document management, ideally within manufacturing or a project‑based environment
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Exposure to quality documentation, audits, or calibration processes
  • Experience working in a regulated or industrial setting
  • Be part of a supportive and collaborative Quality team
