TheJob:
Responsiblefordrivingvalueandaligningprocurementactivitieswiththecompany’sstrategicobjectives.TherolewillinvolvepurchasingavarietyofindirectMRO-related productsandservices, as well as some business services including IT contracts.
- Purchasingindirectproducts and servicesinlinewiththecompany'srequirementsandensuringmeasurablecommercialandoperationaloutcomeswithin theMRO and businessservices categories
- Buildinganddevelopingstrongsupplierrelationships
- MonitoringsupplierdatatoensureperformancelevelsarewithinagreedSLAs
- Carryingoutsuppliervisitsandaudits
- Implementingandembeddingprocurementimprovements
- Engagingwithstakeholders,drivingbudgetcomplianceanddeveloptenderspecifications
Requiredexperience:
- Atleast6years'experienceinan Indirectpurchasing role, at SeniorBuyerlevel or above
- Evidenceofhighspendand autonomous category responsibility
- ExperiencewithMRO and businessservices/other indirect spend category
- Provensolidnegotiationskills
- Experiencewithinmanufacturingpurchasingisanadvantage.
