Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating production schedules to meet demand
- Scheduling internal works orders across manufacturing and assembly functions
- Creating work-to lists to support internal production activity
- Raising purchase orders in line with production requirements
- Liaising with the internal purchasing team and suppliers to track order progress and elevate delays
- Supporting just-in-time delivery principles to maintain production flow
Experience
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production planning / scheduling (preferably within manufacturing)
- Competence using Microsoft Excel / ERP systems
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A methodical and analytical approach to data and planning information
- Confidence communicating with internal teams and external suppliers
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A relentless energy for continuous improvement
