Looking for a Project Manager role where you can take full ownership of delivery from start to finish? Join us to lead civil engineering and infrastructure projects — ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on role, managing site teams, programmes, and client relationships while driving performance across every stage of the project lifecycle.
What you’ll do
- Manage the full lifecycle of projects from planning through to completion
- Deliver works to agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications
- Develop and maintain project programmes, tracking progress and performance
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery
- Allocate labour, plant, and materials to maximise productivity
- Conduct site inspections and monitor performance against programme and standards
- Create and manage safe systems of work, including RAMS
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections, audits, and project handovers
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout delivery

Requirements
- Proven experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies (e.g. highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks)
- Experience managing budgets and commercial performanceGood knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
- SMSTS (essential)
- Black CSCS Card (essential)
Desirable
- NEBOSH or IOSH
- Temporary Works Coordinator
- Appointed Person (Lifting)
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or working towards)
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015)
