nOur client, a highly regarded national law firm, is looking to recruit a NQ-5 PQE Solicitor to join their Complex Claims Insurance team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative environment handling a varied and interesting caseload of Defendant Insurance matters, with a focus on Employers' and Public Liability claims.
nYou will be trusted with a high level of responsibility, contributing to departmental growth while delivering high‑quality, commercially focused legal advice to insurer and corporate clients.

nYour new role
nThis Complex Injury Solicitor role will see you:
- nt
- Managing and/or assisting on a varied caseload of Defendant Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims, including injury, liability, contractual and indemnity issues. nt
- Providing clear, practical written and verbal advice to clients and insurers nt
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and other key litigation documents nt
- Conducting legal research and financial liability assessments nt
- Representing clients at hearings or liaising with counsel where appropriate nt
- Managing files efficiently to ensure profitability, compliance and achievement of KPI targets nt
- Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to wider team objectives nt
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, procedural and internal business requirements nt
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and departmental planning nt
- Building strong client and stakeholder relationships and supporting business development activity n

nWhat you'll need to succeed
nEssential:
- nt
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer (NQ – 5 years PQE) nt
- Strong, demonstrable experience of Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims nt
- Sound knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and insurance litigation processes nt
- Experience advising commercial organisations and dealing directly with insurers nt
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills nt
- Experience using legal case management systems (e. Proclaim or similar) nt
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload, meet deadlines and achieve fee targets nt
- A collaborative, values‑driven approach to working within a team n
nDesirable:

- Experience handling complex and/or high‑value claims nt
- Involvement in business development or client relationship activity n
