Conveyancing Assistant – High-Volume, Supportive Team Environment

\nI’m working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the property sector, offering an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and collaborative team.
\n
\nThis is a great role for someone with at least 12 months’ experience in residential conveyancing or remortgage work, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high level of client service.
\n
\nYou’ll be supporting experienced conveyancers with a varied caseload, playing a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.
\n
\nKey Responsibilities:

\n\n

\n\t
• Providing a high standard of customer service to clients and corporate referrers
\n\t
• Supporting a conveyancer to meet conversion and service targets
\n\t
• Managing files (both electronic and paper) efficiently
\n\t
• Chasing key parties including clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties for updates and documentation
\n\t
• Handling enquiries on sale and purchase transactions
\n\t
• Assisting with exchanges and completions
\n\t
• Requesting and chasing funds from lenders, clients and other solicitors
\n\t
• Preparing, issuing and checking legal documents
\n\t
• Inputting and interpreting key data such as mortgage offers and redemption figures
\n

• Around 12 months’ experience within residential conveyancing or remortgage work
\n\t
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
\n\t
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage a high-volume workload
\n\t
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
\n\t
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team
\n\t
• Previous administrative or customer service experience within a legal or property setting
\n
