Conveyancing Assistant – High-Volume, Supportive Team Environment

nI’m working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the property sector, offering an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and collaborative team.
n
nThis is a great role for someone with at least 12 months’ experience in residential conveyancing or remortgage work, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high level of client service.
n
nYou’ll be supporting experienced conveyancers with a varied caseload, playing a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

nKey Responsibilities:

- Providing a high standard of customer service to clients and corporate referrers nt
- Supporting a conveyancer to meet conversion and service targets nt
- Managing files (both electronic and paper) efficiently nt
- Chasing key parties including clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties for updates and documentation nt
- Handling enquiries on sale and purchase transactions nt
- Assisting with exchanges and completions nt
- Requesting and chasing funds from lenders, clients and other solicitors nt
- Preparing, issuing and checking legal documents nt
- Inputting and interpreting key data such as mortgage offers and redemption figures n
What I’m looking for:

- Around 12 months’ experience within residential conveyancing or remortgage work nt
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach nt
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage a high-volume workload nt
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills nt
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team nt
- Previous administrative or customer service experience within a legal or property setting n
