Due to growth, Patersons, part of the Manchetts Group in Newmarket is looking for full-time, experienced *MET Technician *to join their team.
This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled MET with solid experience in stripping and refitting accident-damaged vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling and rebuilding vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently and to a high quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Strip and refit mechanical and electrical components* Removal and replacement of panels, trims and interiors* Identify additional damage during dismantling* Prepare vehicles for paint and panel repair* Reassemble vehicles following manufacturer guidelines* Work efficiently to meet productivity targets* Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician (MET) / Strip & Fit Technician* Experience working in a bodyshop environment* Strong knowledge of modern vehicle mechanical and electrical systems* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Good time management and attention to detail* Full UK driving licence (required)
*Your responsibilities will include:*
* Servicing and repairing vehicles in accordance with the manufacturer`s and industry guidelines and times* Detect and diagnose faults using computer technology and your own mechanical knowledge* Maintaining air conditioning systems* Completing all paperwork accurately* Working responsibly with Health and Safety in mind. xwzovoh

*Terms and Conditions:*
