Patent Paralegal

The role will see you working closely with Patent Attorneys to support a varied and high quality client portfolio. You will play a key part in managing patent processes, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining accuracy across all work. Key Responsibilities: Supporting attorneys across the full patent lifecycle Monitoring and maintaining deadlines using IP management systems Preparing and filing patent applications and associated documentation Liaising with clients, foreign associates and official bodies Updating and maintaining records within patent databases such as Inprotech or similar Handling correspondence and document management tasks efficiently Ensuring accuracy and compliance across all processes and procedures Supporting the wider team with administrative and portfolio management tasks Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Patent Paralegal role Completion of the Introductory Patent Paralegal Course (IPPC) or working towards it Strong understanding of patent processes and procedures Experience using Inprotech or similar IP management systems Familiarity with document management systems Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Confident communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude High level of attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Apply today or contact Antony Setford for more information.
