Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Technical to join a food manufacturing business that is undergoing investment and growth. You will lead the Technical function at the site, develop and implement the technical strategy, and report to the Technical Director as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Technical function for the site, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement the technical strategy to support company growth and product development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to drive technical initiatives.
• Report on technical performance and progress to the Senior Leadership Team and the Technical Director.

Qualifications

• Senior Technical Manager or Head of Technical experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience supplying the food retail sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent leadership capabilities to develop and motivate a technical team.
• Proven experience with BRC food safety standards.
