About the role
My Implant Dentist is hiring an experienced, implant-focused General Dental Practitioner to join our team in Australia. We are specifically welcoming applications from UK GDPs ready to make the move — we do this often, we do it well, and we will support you through every step.
This is a clinical role, not an administrative one. You will be placing and restoring implants from week one alongside senior implant clinicians, with a clear case mix, structured mentorship, and the time to do good dentistry.
Who we are looking for
- 3–8 years post-qualification (BDS or equivalent).
- Demonstrable implant experience — ideally a Diploma in Implant Dentistry, or 50+ implants placed and/or restored.
- Comfortable presenting full treatment plans to patients and managing the surgical and restorative phases.
- Eligible for direct AHPRA registration as a UK-qualified dentist (GDC-registered, no ADC exams in most cases), or already AHPRA-registered.
- UK passport holders welcome — we sponsor 482, 186 and (where applicable) 494 visas.
- Australian or New Zealand citizens currently in the UK and considering home — even more welcome.
What you\'ll do
- Run a full clinical book with a strong implant case mix — single units through full-arch.
- Work alongside senior implant clinicians who can mentor on case complexity, planning and execution.
- Use modern digital workflow — CBCT, intra-oral scanning, guided surgery as appropriate.
- Take part in a supportive team culture: case reviews, monthly CPD, and a real lunch break.
- Build long-term relationships with patients, not 10-minute UDA cycles.

How the process works

3. Virtual practice tour and team intros. Your partner is welcome on this call.
4. Written offer with full package, visa and AHPRA support. Within a week of stage 4.
