Overview
A Fuel System Senior Design Engineer is required to join an engineering team who are working on the design and development of light helicopters for the global market. The company design, develop and manufacture their products in the UK. With extensive financial backing and a growing order book they are seeking to grow their engineering team and require a Fuel System Senior Design Engineer to join their team. The Fuel System Senior Design Engineer will work with an engineering team to develop mechanical design schemes and detailed designs of the fuel control system for a gas turbine engine along with the helicopter fuel system components and assemblies.
The Fuel System Senior Design Engineer will use fluid system modelling tools and be familiar with ANSYS FEA and CFD; they will use PTC Creo to produce and detail component and assembly models and the associated drawings. A hands-on approach and a can-do attitude are essential, as is the ability to challenge mainstream thinking in a constructive and energetic way.
