A highly successful corrugated packaging company continues to invest heavily in technical expertise and is looking for a Sales Director to take the business to the next level. The company’s mission is to meet and exceed customers’ expectations by providing best‑in‑class customer service and building long‑term business partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Search for new business opportunities.
- Grow existing accounts.
- Manage the sales team.
- Plan and implement a sales strategy.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, gathering performance data and generating reports.
- Use industry knowledge to create growth opportunities, accurately forecast sales predictions, and monitor market shifts to avoid stagnation.
- Analyze the company’s product offering and current client portfolio to identify additional markets.
- Analyze trend data, monitor market changes, and track results to inform strategy.
- Actively manage the sales team, setting objectives, coaching, monitoring performance, and driving them to exceed sales goals.
- Maintain close, trusting relationships with team members and facilitate open communication.
- Lead and inspire the team with dynamic, energetic, and passionate leadership to bring fresh ideas to the table and improve company turnover.
Qualifications
- Resident in the United Kingdom.
- Recent or current experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
- Strong business sense with ability to conduct trend analysis, market monitoring and result tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and developing a team.
