Overview
A leading specialist printing company is looking to appoint a highly experienced Production Director to set and communicate goals, create and improve structure and processes, and facilitate the day‑to‑day running to ensure productivity.
As Director you will take control of the production facility and have direct responsibility for the workforce. You’ll drive senior‑level teams within a company providing on‑demand printing services, fostering cooperation through employee involvement and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and communicate production goals and performance objectives.
- Develop, lead and implement manufacturing optimisation projects using lean / six sigma processes.
- Manage all activities for continuous improvement, performance enhancement and the accomplishment of business objectives.
- Plan and prioritise activities, execute initiatives and take responsibility for decisions and their outcomes.
- Facilitate the day‑to‑day running of the production facility to maximise efficiency and maintain high standards.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Production Director or similar senior managerial role in on‑demand printing.
- Strong working knowledge of lean / six sigma and demonstrable success in continuous improvement projects.
- Proven ability to gain respect, motivate and develop teams.
- Aspiring to be an integral part of long‑term success, with strong planning, initiative and decision‑making abilities.
Candidates must have recent experience in on‑demand printing.
