Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Science department, ensuring high standards of teaching and achievement
• Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging Science curriculum
• Support, mentor, and develop teaching staff within the department
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
• Contribute to the wider leadership and development of the school

Requirements

• Qualified teacher with significant experience teaching Science
• Proven leadership or middle leadership experience (e.g., Head of Department or similar)
• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes for all students
