Role Purpose
We’re looking for a Business Development Lead who can shape how Creativebrief shows up in the market and deepens our relationships with brands and agencies. This is a strategic growth role: you’ll refine our approach, open new doors, and help more brands and agencies benefit from what we do. This role combines strategy and hands‑on relationship building: you’ll define the direction, guide conversations at senior levels, and help our community see Creativebrief as a partner in their growth.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years+ in business development or commercial growth roles within the creative, marketing or agency ecosystem
- Someone who genuinely understands how agencies win work, grow clients and differentiate themselves
- Comfortable building long‑term commercial relationships built on trust
- Confident in developing strategy, spotting opportunity and navigating senior conversations with senior brand marketers and agency leadership teams
- Clear communicator who can listen deeply and articulate value simply
- Organised, curious, proactive and comfortable balancing autonomy with collaboration
- Experience in agencies, media, platforms or consultancy environments is very useful
What You’ll Lead
- Define and execute our new business strategy for the business
- Build and manage a strong, transparent pipeline that reflects both short and long‑term opportunity
- Lead high‑quality conversations with senior leadership teams, helping them understand how Creativebrief can support their growth
- Evolve the way we nurture and convert leads
- Own HubSpot sales usage and reporting, ensuring clarity and alignment across the business
- Work closely with Marketing on campaigns, content and thought leadership that resonate with the industry
- Partner with our senior team to leverage networks, co‑create opportunities and shape our broader commercial direction
- Play an active external role across industry gatherings, events and communities to expand our presence and influence
- Deliver against clear individual and team commercial targets; supported by a OTE structure
- Manage one direct report, with the opportunity to shape and build a small team as the function grows
