Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage the £20m pa plus print division of a massive organisation.
The role is pivotal within the company, bringing expertise to develop and lead the delivery of a growth strategy that meets agreed sales and revenue targets. The successful individual must demonstrate success in developing and implementing large‑scale sales and business development strategies within the print industry, and building and maintaining a broad network of internal and external stakeholder relationships that generate commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop, produce and lead the business strategy and the tools required to implement it.
- Develop knowledge of the industry and offer business intelligence to support target selection.
- Support and, when required, lead client presentations to ensure the team is succinct and professional.
- Manage production, account management and external sales teams through a line‑management structure.
- Devise and implement appropriate marketing activities in conjunction with the Marketing department.
- Build relationships with internal divisions to support sales activities and execute collaborative approaches where appropriate.
- Evaluate competitor activity, market information and client feedback.
Qualifications
- Target driven with advanced communication and influencing skills.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team of directors.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to cope with multiple large‑scale responsibilities.
Eligibility
Applicants must be resident in the UK and have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
