What we are looking for:

  • Comfortable working alone and using your initiative with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
  • Understanding and awareness of current security environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build appropriate and professional relationships

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Contribute to providing a safe and secure environment for our students, staff and visitors.
  • Quickly assess situations and take appropriate actions
  • Provision of reception service at the Old Reception
  • Carrying out regular internal and external patrols
  • Carrying out investigations, or searches, as directed by the College management

A flexible approach to working hours is required. Full time hours of work are 40 hours per week, normally worked Monday-Friday on a rota basis operating between the hours of 8:45am – 9:15pm. Occasional weekends are required.
