Position Overview
Senior Project Manager (Social experience required) – 12 month fixed‑term contract (FTC).
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and managing large, complex projects with multiple workstreams from brief to delivery.
- Mobilise internal and external teams around the project vision and deliver a clear picture of expected outcomes.
- Manage day‑to‑day execution, meeting milestones on time and within budget.
- Work closely with the Account, Strategy, and Creative leads to meet client expectations and agency needs from briefing through final delivery.
- Coordinate with Creative Director, Resource Manager, and vendors to ensure quality control, asset delivery, and trafficking to media partners.
- Track financial progression, provide reviews, and suggest adjustments to project scope and team as needed.
- Schedule and lead project‑related meetings such as kickoffs, brainstorms, and reviews.
- Act as a client‑facing point for budget, timing, resource and process discussions.
- Write client statements of work (SOWs), vendor agreements, change orders and other contract documents.
- Ensure agency, client, vendor and legal processes and requirements are met.
- Manage various content types (video, image, websites, TVC, print, retail, etc.) and deliver assets to required partners.
- Identify risks and offer solutions, maintaining agility and strategy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the first escalation point for issue and conflict resolution on all projects.
- Support Head of Delivery in monitoring project managers and, when applicable, have line reports of your own.
- Contribute to new‑business support such as pitch development for the department.
- Grow relationships and participate in VaynerMedia social engagement.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience managing complex strategic projects with senior stakeholder management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Budget development and contract (SOW) writing experience.
- Proactive problem‑solving, escalation, and continuous evaluation of project effectiveness.
- Attention to overall quality of project delivery and documentation.
- Knowledge of creative development and asset creation processes.
- Positive, calm, and collected approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to thrive and stay agile in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong self‑awareness and people‑management skills.
- Understanding of diverse channels, including social media platforms and their requirements.
- Social experience is required.
